This article was good and had some very good tips, but I would also add that there is not any law that says you have to see your family if it is not healthy for you! The kids and I stay at our own house, no stress, we invite single people we know over, we just hang out and do our thing. I also get iritated when people ask me why I do not spend the holidays with my “family”, my response is I do, me and my kids and pets and friends that are alone at that time!
