Your Resolutions
Tuesday January 6, 2009
Thank you to all the readers who shared their New Year’s resolutions. Your responses were so thoughtful and enthusiastic. I know you will inspire others! Below are some of the goals you shared.
Goals for 2009:
- Make resolutions that I actually intend to keep.
- Not only write in my planner, but look at it afterwards when thinking about my day.
- Keep a food diary more regularly so I might actually pay attention to what I'm eating.
- In the blank book I keep by my bed, at the end of each day before going to bed, write 5 things I am grateful for.
- Stop speeding in a car.
- Avoid alcohol at all costs; it makes me unable to inhibit my impulsiveness at all!
- Be more patient with my children and husband. Not get so upset with myself when I have a bad day.
- Clean the clutter out of my house including the big messes in the closets and garage.
- Take my medicine more regularly.
- Finish gathering my art and developing the slide presentation to distribute to see if there is something to pursue there and to not care if people think it is too intense or that I am crazy.
- Stop berating myself.
- Start walking more regularly.
- Get my bills paid on time. I am sick and tired of late notices and don’t want to get any more in 2009.
Feel free to post additional resolutions in the comments section below.
