Disruptive Behavior Disorders

Between 30 and 50 percent of children diagnosed with ADHD also have disruptive behaviors such as those seen in oppositional defiant disorder. Children with ODD persistently display a pattern of negative, defiant, rebellious behaviors. They may easily lose their temper, are argumentative, resentful and often spiteful or vindictive, and hostile. They may actively defy rules and blame others. They display poor social skills and often engage in conflicts.

Conduct disorder is a more extreme form of ODD and involves more serious incidents of aggression and defiance.
