Obviously, Anthony and Samantha have thrived because of their parents’ constant support and follow through with treatment, their unconditional love, and their belief that both children would be successful.
Though Mary had spent much of her early career as an oncology nurse, when Anthony was first diagnosed, she soon found herself becoming knowledgeable and educated about ADHD issues. Today, with over 15 years in the professional field of ADHD -- including as past National President of CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) -- Mary continues to be a strong advocate and experienced consultant for families living with ADHD. And of course, she continues to be a loving and proud mom.
