International Conference on ADHD: Starts Nov. 12
CHADD, the nation’s largest organization serving people affected by AD/HD, will hold its twentieth Annual International Conference November 12-15 in Anaheim, California. The conference offers camaraderie, education, and the chance to talk directly with renowned experts on attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
The conference opens with Ross Greene, Ph.D. – the renowned psychologist providing strategies for parents to avoid conflicts and negotiate many of the parenting pitfalls that are so much a part of raising children with challenging behaviors. Friday’s keynote speaker, Olympic Gold Medal winner Bruce Jenner, will share his story of living with AD/HD and dyslexia. After years of school failure and frustration, he found excellence and success through sports. The closing keynote address by Jay Giedd, M.D., highlights findings from the NIMH longitudinal neuroimaging studies and brain research on girls with AD/HD.
A partial list of presenters includes Blake Taylor, Anthony Rostain, Russell Ramsay, Jodi Sleeper-Triplett, Sam Goldstein, George DuPaul, John Ratey, Nancy Ratey, Terry Matlen, Chris Dendy, Sandra Rief, Michael Hurley, Vincent Monastra, and Gina Pera.

Thanks for letting your readers know about this conference, Keath.
This will be my fifth CHADD International Conference, and I am really looking forward to it. The caliber of speakers and range of topics are unparalleled. There’s truly something for everyone — beginners, clinicians, parents, adults, and so on.
My favorite is the science symposium, but all the presentations are top-notch.
