An individual with ADHD may have difficulty with self-control and inhibiting behaviors. Impulsive symptoms include the following:
  • Often blurts out answers before questions have been finished.
  • Often has difficulty waiting one’s turn.
  • Often interrupts or intrudes on others (e.g., butts into conversations or games).
  • Acts before thinking through consequences.
